Indore: Registration window to apply for admission in five-year Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) has closed. Indian Institute of Management Indore that offers IPM programme, an after-school course, said that that it received thousands of registration forms and the exact number would be disclosed on Thursday.
“The counting of registration forms is still under-way. The exact figure will be known on Thursday,” said Ananya Mishra, media incharge of IIM Indore. Last year, more than 16,000 registration forms were received for the IPM. She said that the figure may shoot up this year.
The admission process is conducted in two phase. In the first phase, Aptitude Test (AT) is held. Those who qualify AT are invited for personal interview. This year, AT would be conducted in 28 cities across the country on May 16. AT of IPM is considered as one of the toughest entrance test to crack as competition level remains very high. There are merely 120 seats in this course. IPM programme seeks to attract young candidates and mould them as outstanding leaders.
After three years of intensive study of foundational disciplines, IPM participants train as manager along with the participants of the institute’s 2-year Post Graduate Programme in Management undertaking the same course package in management studies in years 4 and 5.
