Results of first phase of placement drive organised by placement cell of Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya were declared during a programme at DAVV auditorium on Thursday. Twenty four Indian and foreign companies including Infosys, WIPRO, Mu-Sigma and others took part in the drive. DAVV central placement incharge Dr Govind Maheshwari said during the first phase of campus placement, 600 offer letters were given to students.
The selected students will get annual packages from Rs 3.50 lakh to 8 lakh. Students of IET College and IIPS College took part in this drive of which 75% were placed. In the second phase, around 25 companies will take part with more annual packages. The placement programme was also attended by DAVV vice chancellor Prof Narendra Kumar Dhakad, HOD Prof Sanjeev Tokekar and Raveindra Verma of placement Cell.
