Indore: Collector office to go cashless from December 1


Indore: All payments to be made cashless in the collector office from December 1. The administrative block has started preparations to achieve the target.

In the Time Limit (TL) meeting of held at the collector’s office on Monday, Collector P Narahari instructed all heads of departments to act accordingly. He said that as per instructions received from the Chief Secretary for payments of all services and other work of the state government cash would not be accepted. Accordingly he instructed officers to start preparations.

 He appointed Additional Collector Rakhi Sahay as nodal officer for the purpose. She will present report on how to make payments in the departments and sections of the Collector’s office through online, Paytm, debit-credit card and such other medium to the state government’s account. The Collector also said that in the wake of demonetization, the state government has issued instruction to all departments that “we should head for cashless system as far as possible and all payments should be received online or like that mediums only.”
