Indore: Arrival of brother saves 2 minors from molestation


INDORE: Three men stopped two minor girls while they were on their way home and tried to touch them inappropriately. However, the arrival of their elder brother caused the men to beat him up and flee the spot. The girls had gone to a grocery shop near their home when the incident occurred. Police have registered a case and are investigating the matter.

In another incident, a student filling up examination form was subjected to eve-teasing and molestation. According to the police, the incident occurred at a private college located on Khandwa Road. The girl was on her way to the college when a youth stopped her and asked her to accompany her. The girl objected and the youth clicked her picture on his mobile. Based on the complaint filed by the girl, the police have registered a case against one Shubham Yadav of Badnagar, Ujjain and are investigating the matter.

Girl consumes pesticides, dies

A girl, employed at a factory manufacturing poisonous chemicals such as rat poison etc, died when she accidently consumed the substances. She had reported not feeling well and was rushed to a hospital where she died during treatment. The factory is located in Kabootarkhana area and the girl was identified as Rani (18) daughter of Syed Khan and a resident of Balai Mohalla.

Girl beaten up

Police have booked a youth who beat up a girl. As per the complaint, the youth called the girl’s brother-in-law and tried to malign her character and when she went to him to reason with him, he beat her up with a stick. The youth, identified as Ramesh Pachori of Rajnagar has been booked by the police.
