Indore: An alumnus of Indian Institute of Management Indore (IIM-I) has developed an app for e-Government citizen services such as issuance of birth, death, income and caste certificates.
The app has received overwhelming response from netizens and mobile phone users and has won ‘Digital Trailblazer Award’ for Sundar Balakrishna, who has developed the app named ‘Meeseva’.
The app can be used to download certificates via email and request print copies on secure stationary. The service is available on both android and iOS platforms. Balakrishna said that given the reach of smart phones, he decided to come up with a technology which can help people in obtaining e-Government services like obtaining various certificates online. the app could also be used to pay various fee and utility bills, he said.
