Khandelwal in controversy always

This is not for the first time Khandelwal invited controversy. He drew flak for chopping off trees on the campus. He had washed his hands of the incident saying that it was not his but the order of Principal of New Government College, which operates from Holkar College campus. Even appointment of Khandelwal as public participation committee chairman had run into controversy as he was reportedly appointed on the day Model Code of Conduct had come into force. An inquiry by the district collector had found the joining ‘ illegal’ and recommended for action against principal RK Tugnawat, who facilitated it. However, the Divisional Commissioner later gave clean chit to Tugnawat in the matter.
