New Delhi: The Aam Aadmi Party National Executive meeting have ended. The meeting was held to discuss the ongoing rift within party over Delhi Chief Minister. Post the six hours long meeting, it has emerged that founding members Yogendra Yadav and Prashant Bhushan are not out of the AAP Political Affairs Committee (PAC). These are the indicators that both the seniors members have been sidelined following the national meet. Sources indicate during the voting the duo received 8 votes in their favour while 11 voted against them.
In another development, AAP Convenor Arvind Kejriwal offered his resignation from the post of Party Chief’s post earlier today. However, Arvind Kejriwal’s resignation has not been accepted by the committee.
When asked about the meeting results, Yogendra Yadav indirectly expressed that he is upset with the party’s ongoing developments. Talking to the reporters, Yadav said that ‘Aam Aadmi Party is made by thousands of people’. He further added that, he will accept whatever decision the committee has taken. He denied revealing any further details about the discussions of party meeting.
However the statement indicates, that the decision will create a negative impact on AAP party workers. Yogendra Yadav left the meeting looking upset and other ministers are not commenting on the development as of now.
