These two politicians from Modi’s cabinet are giving us some serious fitness goals

It seems Narendra Modi’s cabinet ministers Kiren Rijiju and Rajyavardhan Rathore, despite their hectic schedule are giving us some serious fitness goals and are being our inspiration to hit the gym. On Wednesday, Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Kiren Rijiju posted a video on Twitter showing gym session of  Rajyavardhan Rathore, Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting and Olympic silver medalist. Rathore is seen doing a series of push-ups on an exercise ball. He posted, “While doing duty we’ve no time for physical fitness. But my Olympian colleague @Ra_THORe manages some time & gives me a tough challenge”.

To which Rajyavardhan Rathore replied, “Ha ha ha…despite your hectic schedule, YOU are beyond competition AND are an inspiration. @KirenRijiju #IAmNewIndia”

The next day Rijiu posted a 27-second clip that shows the minister doing leg raise kick with ‘Chura liya hai tumne jo dil ko’ being played in the background. He tweets, “Young friends, stay away frm drugs, be fit. Let’s build @narendramodi ji’s #NewIndia dream. I took out 30 mins frm work 2 respond @Ra_THORe.”

In response to the above tweets Suresh Prabhu, Railway Minister of India posts,

To which Rathore replied, “Sir @sureshpprabhu ji, we are happy and proud that YOU are keeping @RailMinIndia fit which is tougher anyday 🙂 #IamNewIndia”

Union Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports Vijay Goel also commented on the videos:

Well, this isn’t the first time Rijiju has posted fitness video. Last year in October, Rijiju posted a video of the duo working out in gym.

While we all are aware of our Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s love for yoga and how he manages to stay healthy and fit. Now here are his cabinet ministers who are giving us inspiration to take care of our health.
