Sonia’s remarks against Modi under scrutiny



Ballia: The district administration here has taken note of Congress president Sonia Gandhi’s remarks accusing BJP prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi of having “neech soch”.

The administration would be sending the CD containing controversial parts of Sonia’s speech here to the Election Commission for further action, district magistrate Sunil Kumar Srivastava said.

Notice could be issued to the Congress president for action over her controversial statement, sources here said.

Addressing an election rally in favour of party’s Salempur candidate Bhola Pandey at Chaukia turn in Bilthara road area earlier today, Gandhi had termed Modi’s criticism of Rajiv Gandhi 23 years after his martrydom as a ‘cheap action” and had also accused him (Modi) of having “neech soch”.
