Salman Khan approaches Jodhpur Court, seeks permission to travel abroad

Bollywood’s superstar Salman Khan, who was recently was granted bail by Jodhpur sessions court, has now filed a petition before Jodhpur District and Sessions Court seeking permission to visit four countries. The court today will hear Salman Khan’s plea seeking permission to travel abroad, and will also announce its verdict soon.

The 52-year-old actor cannot leave the country without the court’s permission and will have to return to the court on May 7 for another hearing. Salman Khan, who had spent two nights in the Jodhpur Central Jail after his sentencing, was granted bail on a bond of Rs 50,000 and two sureties of like amount. The actor was convicted by a trial court and sentenced to five years in prison for allegedly killing two black bucks during the shooting of ‘Hum Saath Saath Hain’.
