Nepal-India security meet postponed


Kathmandu: A security meeting between India and Nepal, which was scheduled to begin here on Sunday, has been postponed due to technical reasons, officials here said today.

Nepal Army in a statement said that meeting of the Nepal-India Bilateral Consultative Group on Security Issues to be held on June 8-9 has been postponed due to technical reasons.

However, the Nepal Army did not mention the new dates for the meeting.

The meeting was expected to discuss exchange of military equipments‚ training and information between two South Asian neighbours.
