Nagrota: Militants attack army camp in Jammu and Kashmir

Jammu: A group of heavily armed militants attacked an army camp in Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday. Heavy firing exchanges are now going on between the militants and security forces, police said.

“A group of heavily armed militants, believed to be four-to-five in number, attacked the 166 field regiment camp in Nagrota area of Jammu today (Tuesday) morning,” the police said.

BSF said, Encounter breaks out between infiltrating group of militants and BSF troops along International Border in Samba sector of Jammu and Kashmir.

The field regiment camp is located in the garrison town of Nagrota near the headquarters of army’s 16 corps in the state.
