INLD releases election manifesto for assembly polls in Haryana

Chandigarh: Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) in Haryana, has released its election manifesto today ahead of assembly polls in the state.

The Haryana legislative assembly election will be held to select 90 legislators as its term ends on October 27.

A senior leader of INLD, Abhay Singh Chautala, said the state was dependent on his party.

“We told you that when we would feel that the polls are impending, we will release our manifesto. Today, the entire state is dependent on the Indian National Lok Dal,” said Chautala.

He said the Haryana government led by Congress party cheated people as they didn’t keep their promises and the INLD would take several beneficiary measures for overall development of the state especially in the fields like education, sports etc.

“Today, the condition of education in Haryana is very poor. The chief minister may say that the state ranks top in the country in terms of education but recently it has come in newspapers that 50 percent students of classes 10 and 12 in Haryana failed in their board exams. And more than 50 schools received zero results. So we must work in order to bring reforms in this field,” added Chautala.

INLD leaders said the party would work to help debt-ridden people, besides it would set up sports stadium in areas with over 15,000 population.

Meanwhile, they also assured monthly pension for senior citizens, free trips for Sikhs to their religious destinations.
