Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) has announced the dates for the group D recruitment exams. The exams will be conducted on November 10, 11, 17 and 18, 2018. The admit cards for the November 10 and 11 exams will be released on October 29, while the admit cards for November 17 and 18 will be released on November 7.
The admit cards will be released on the official website of Haryana Staff Selection Commission i.e. ‘hssc.gov.in’. Through the exam, Haryana Staff Commission aims to fill 18,218 vacant seats. The registration window for the exam was closed on September 18, 2018. The exams will be held in two sessions – morning session from 10:30 am to 12 pm and afternoon session from 3 pm to 4:30 pm.
The candidates will be selected on the basis of written exam and experience. The written exam will be of 100 marks and consist of two parts. The first part will be given 75% weightage and will consist of subjects like General Awareness, Reasoning, Maths, Science, English, Hindi, or Concerned or Relevant Subject as application.
The second part will have 25% weightage and consist of topics like History, Current Affairs, Literature, Geography, Civics, Environment, Culture of Haryana. Candidates can also get extra marks based on socio-economic criteria and experience, which will carry 10 marks.
