Jammu: BJP in Jammu and Kashmir today hit out at the state government saying it remained “perpetually indifferent” to the problems of people of border area people.
Addressing a series of road-shows and a public rally in Hiranagar belt of Kathua district, BJP candidate for Kathua-Udhampur-Doda constituency, Dr Jitendra Singh said the government remained perpetually indifferent to the problems of border area people.
Demands relating to cross-border firing, compensation for the land offered for security purposes and reservation in educational institutions border area youth, have remained unattended, he alleged.
Referring to Hiranagar as the land of martyrs, Dr Singh also demanded district status for Hiranagar and called on the people to vote for BJP, the only viable democratic option for self-respecting patriotic people.
Dr Singh said BJP was not controlled by any dynasty and it could choose a tea seller with a humble background as its Prime Ministerial candidate.
Claiming that BJP’s Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi would liberate the masses suffering from suffocation of price rise, corruption and exploitation, he asked the people to vote for him so as to get adequate representation for BJP in the the Lok Sabha.
