New Delhi: Former union home minister and senior Congress leader P Chidambaram on Saturday called for Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Mehbooba Mufti to break coalition with the BJP and let the Governor’s rule be imposed in the state to save it from the deteriorating law and order. “The honourable course for honourable CM of J&K is to snap the coalition with BJP and make peace with the people,” tweeted Chidambaram, adding that “if that means a spell of Governor’s rule, so be it.” In another tweet, he said: “Growing clamour for Governor’s rule in J&K. Glad more people have realised PDP-BJP government is a disaster.”– From Our Bureau
