On the other hand, Congress leader from Kolkata has filed a compliant against Netflix and makers of web series for insulting former PM Rajiv Gandhi. Amit Malviya took a jibe and posted another tweet with a video clip, “This is what seems to have irked the Congress, their own record on freedom of expression notwithstanding!”, he tweeted.

Even a case has been filed in Delhi High Court against the web series for showing derogatory scenes. The petitioner is demanding to delete the scenes from the series, as it is insulting Rajiv Gandhi.

The petition also alleged that the show “incorrectly depicts historical events of the country like Bofors case, Shah Bano case, Babri Masjid case and communal riots”.
