Nashik: Leader of the Opposition in the Mahasrhtra Legislature Council and BJP MLA Vinod Tawade today alleged that state PWD and Tourism Minister Chhagan Bhujbal has failed to make do proper marketing for the Kumbh Mela.
The biggest religious fair of the Hindus, the Kumbh mela will be held in Nashik next year.
The district’s guardian minister, Bhujbal has failed to make proper marketing for the fair and preparations in the city are still pending, Tawade said.
He said the BJP will try their best to get necessary fund from the Centre and to provide othe assistance to organise the mega event.
Tawade leader was in city to attend the BJP’s core committee meeting of the Nashik division.
He also criticised Bhujbal for hurriedly inaugurating the Nashik Airport, just before the Lok Sabha elections, held in April- May this year, as not a single passenger-plane has landed so far.
