Rahul Gandhi hosts Pakoda party at tea stall in Karnataka, wonder what Modi has to say

Congress President Rahul Gandhi who started the poll campaigning in Karnataka today, with a twist. During his way to campaigning Rahul Gandhi along with Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah and other leaders was seen having a pakoda party at a tea stall in Kalmala village of Raichur district.

In the video Rahul Gandhi, with other leaders alongside was seen having tea along with some ‘pakodas’, even some Congress volunteers are also seen in the video. Now it’s still unclear that did Rahul do this purposely or he was genuinely hungry and wanted to have a bite at roadside tea stall.

This video which is now making news comes after PM Modi in an interview had claimed that someone earning Rs. 200 by opening a “pakoda” shop by the street cannot be called unemployed. Which was also backed by BJP chief Amit Shah in his maiden speech in Rajya Sabha where he said, “It is better to be a labourer or sell ‘pakodas’ than to be unemployed. There is no shame in selling ‘pakodas’.”

So, this video of Rahul Gandhi raises questions like this snack break was genuine or was Congress trying to hit back at BJP by hosting a ‘pakoda party’.

Rahul Gandhi will address a tribal rally at Devadurga in Raichur district and two public meetings at Jevargi and Kalburgi in Gulbarga district. He is also scheduled to visit the Sharana Basaveshwara temple and the Khwaja Bande Nawaz dargah, both in Gulbarga, in the evening.
