Patna: Chief minister Nitish Kumar on early Monday morning called on the RJD president Lalu Prasad to inquire about his health, according to the sources close to RJD chief.
Nitish who is an early morning riser went to 10, Circular Road residence of Lalu from his residence. Nitish went there cutting short his morning walk which he takes in the 1, Anney Marg Bungalow, official residence of CM.
Nitish who had not visited Lalu for more than two months,stayed there for 45 minutes. Lalu’s wife Rabri Devi, his two minister sons, Tejeshwai Yadav and Tejpratap also joined them during the morning tea.
Nitish is understood to have briefed Lalu about the ongoing Nischay Yatra and business during the winter session of Bihar legislature beginning November 25.
No official or JDU leader was present during the Lalu-Nitish meeting, a personal aide of Lalu told this paper.
