Khadse-Dawood alleged link: HC to hear matter on June 6

Days after AAP leader Preeti Sharma Menon levied heavy allegations against Maharashtra minister Eknath Khadse of being in touch with Dawood Ibrahim, Manish Bhangale a Vadodara hacker filed a PIL against Khadse’s alleged phone records that speaks of his talks with underworld don Dawood Ibrahim on which Khadse is constantly in denial. Bhangale further alleged that Mumbai Police knew still they did nothing over it.


Pvt jet carrying Naidu, Rudy aborts take off

Private jet of BJP minister M Venkaiah Naidu and senior leader Rajiv Pratap Rudy was aborted after it was ready for takeoff, after the pilot recieved a fuel warning. Both were flying  to Jaipur to file their nominations for Rajya Sabha polls, but due to this mess, they had to take an immediate flight to Jaipur to file their respective nominations.

AIB row: Police seek to block video mocking Lata, Sachin

AIB’s roaster specialist Tanmay Bhat was caught in a controversy after he posted a video on social media trolling and roasting Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar and singer Lata Mangeshkar and belittled them. Mumbai police have demanded for deletion of the derogatory content from all the social networking sited. Bollywood personalities and all political parties came heavily attacking AIB man accusing him of insulting the personalitiesand demanded for custodial interrogation for belittling the dignity of such dignified personalities.

Amul MD gets extortion call from Ravi Pujari gang

Triggering a new row, Amul Brand’s Managing Director R S Sodhi have alleged posed a threat from gangster Ravi Pujara after he received an extortion call demanding for Rs. 25 crores as a protection money. Sodhi had filed a complain to Ahmedabad police about the same, and the authorities are investigating the matter.

Malegaon case: Sadhvi Pragya’s bail plea to be heard on June 6

A Mumbai court today agreed to hear the bail plea of 2008 Malegaon blast accused Sadhvi Pragua Thakur on June 6. On 13th May, the NIA decided not to include her name in the chargesheet filed. It further dropped the charges agiant her filed under MCOCA act and hinted towards release of her along with other 4 accused.

Tobacco kills 150 persons every hour in South East Asia: WHO

In a recent survey of WHO, atleast 150 person every hour die in South East Asia due to tobacco consumption. It further suggested removal of all promotional texts and images and asked for plain packaging that has only graphical warning about the haphazard of tobacco consumption.
