Running around from the last 50 years, the patrons say the misal always taste the same – amazing and super tasty. It reflects their dedication to quality. A simple place, with spicy, delicious misal.They actually do three levels of misal based on the spice level ranging from mild, spicy and very spicy. Renowned for its spiciness, served with finely chopped onion and farsan with a layer of oil which you just ignore as the dish which is outstanding. Located at Ganpat Kadam Marg Lower Parel.

One of the places which serve authentic Maharashtrian misal, one of the oldies like Aaswad and Vinay lunch home. The twist with their misal is that they do not serve it with pav and it still tastes good. Neither too spicy nor water, with onion, farsan and lot of dahi on top. Located at Dadar Shivaji Park, near Sena Bhavan.
We have saved the best for last and Aaswad is surely he best with its award winning world tastiest vegetarian dish. Inaugurated in 1986 by Balasaheb Thackrey. With misal pav priced at RS.48 it does live up to the hype and has a delicious misal which you can mop up with pav. With lime, onions and farsan accompanying it.
