Get a global splash of colours at the Color Run in Mumbai

Over the years, running a marathon has become a trend sort of. People have become conscious about their health and benefits of running a marathon. But there is one marathon called as ‘The Color Run’, also known as the ‘Happiest 5k on the Planet’ – a unique marathon that celebrates health, happiness, and colours. With ‘happiness’ the agenda, the Color Run is the largest running series in the world and experienced by over 6 million runners in 40 countries. For the uninitiated, in the color marathon, the participants are sprayed with powder colours through the run.

The Color run happening in Mumbai is part of the Mumbai Shopping Festival organised by Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation (MTDC) and will be held on January 14, followed by February 10 in Bengaluru and February 25 in Delhi. The interesting part of the event is there are no winners or prizes and all participants will get a unicorn medal at the end of the race. Each participant will get a Dream Tour race shirt, headband, and temporary tattoo.

To add to the fun, participants can paint on the Dream Wall and click photos with giant unicorns. The race is open to everyone, including kids. There will also be performances by Neeti Mohan, Siddharth Mahadevan, and DJ Hussain. At the end of the event, party with your gang amidst vibrant bursts of colour throws.
