What! T-series bought Hindi dubbing rights of Prabhas’ ‘Saaho’ for Rs 120 crore?

After the tremendous response to Southern actor Prabhas‘ ‘Baahubali’ series, his fans are eagerly waiting for the release of action thriller ‘Saaho’ which will release in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. The film is reported to be the costliest Indian film and is mounted on a magnum budget of Rs 150 crore. And now according to sources, producer Bhushan Kumar and his company T-series has joined hands with UV Creations, for the Hindi distribution rights of Prabhas starrer.

Interestingly, it is said that the deal was signed for a whopping Rs 120 crore. A source told Hindustan Times, “Rs 120 crore was paid to bag the Hindi rights of Saaho. Following the success of Baahubali and Prabhas’s popularity nationally, T-Series didn’t mind spending a bomb on the film.”

Well, looks like the ‘Saaho’ makers are leaving no stone unturned to make the movie a big magnum opus. ‘Saaho’ will have high-octane action sequences for which they roped in world-famous action choreographer Kenny Bates. The movie also stars Shraddha Kapoor in lead role and is slated to hit the big screen next year.
