Anupam Kher’s upcoming flick ‘The Accidental Prime Minister’ has him playing India’s former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh. Recently, the makers shared a new photo featuring the entire cast of the film. The picture has a depiction of the PM himself and other political figures in the 2004-14 UPA cabinet.

Singh, his wife Gursharan Kaur, Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi, former President APJ Abdul Kalam and former union minister Shivraj Patil are some of the ‘reel’ figures spotted in the picture. Quite a doppelganger cast we must say!

Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh shared the still on Twitter with its release date captioned as, “Arriving Christmas 2018… #TheAccidentalPrimeMinister, the political drama starring Anupam Kher, to release on 21 Dec 2018… Costars Akshaye Khanna, Suzanne Bernert and Aahana Kumra… Directed by Vijay Gutte… Here’s a glimpse of the film.”

The Accidental Prime Minister is based on the book of the same name by Sanjaya Baru and is directed by Vijay Gutte with Hansal Mehta as the creative producer. Other than Anupam Kher as Dr Singh, it also features German actor Suzanne Bernert as former Congress president Sonia Gandhi, Ahana Kumra as Priyanka Gandhi and Arjun Mathur as Rahul Gandhi and Akshaye Khanna in the role of Sanjaya Baru.
