Taapsee-Amit go short

The short film wave is growing and how. Now Tigmanshu Dhulia has also joined the growing band of filmmakers dabbling in this medium. Taapsee Pannu is all set out to impress the audience with her varied roles in Bollywood this year.

After having bagged a lead in Shoojit Sircar’s next production, PINK where she shares the screen space with Amitabh Bachchan, the actress will also be seen in a charming short film directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia.

Titled BAARISH AUR CHOWMEIN, the film is a part of a noble initiative of peace by the Zee Group where six Indian and Pakistani directors each have made short films on theme of love.


Taapsee essays the role of a Maharashtrian back up dancer in movies in the film and the story is about her love story with the guy essayed by Amit Sadh. The film will be released limited in theatres and eventually on digital platforms.
