Well, we all know the kind of history that Bahubali created with its historical tale of family and kingdoms. Now that the Bhallaladeva aka Rana Daggubati has moved on with his other projects, it seems that he has had an unexpected encounter which he can’t stop boasting about on social media.

Rana Daggubati was recently travelling by flight when he was surprised to see the South superstar and legend Kamal Haasan. And not surprisingly, a lot of bonding happened between these two Bollywood actors. While Rana was super thrilled to meet someone as legendary as Kamal, the latter seem to be impressed to meet the man who portrayed one of the most iconic villainous characters – Bhallalaldeva in Baahubali.

Also, as a memory of the meeting and excited to share about this meeting with fans, Rana Daggubati went to speak about it by sharing a selfie with Haasan on Instagram. If there was anything that he was happier about besides meeting Kamal, was also that he got to learn a lot from him in that one hour meeting. Speaking of the same on the post, Rana said, “When you learnt in an hour more than what you’ve learnt in a year. That means you have met with Legend himself @ikamalhaasan.” Speaking of Rana Daggubati, the actor will be seen in the Hindi remake of the cult Rajesh Khanna film Haathi Mere Saathi, albeit in a different version. On the other hand, he has also signed NTR biopic which features Vidya Balan as the leading lady.

While Balakrishna Nandamuri plays the titular character, Rana will essay the character of his son-in-law and the then Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandra Babu Naidu. On the other hand, Kamal Haasan has dived into politics completely. Amidst that, he is also busy with the promotions of his ambitious film Vishwaroopam 2. The second instalment of this spy thriller starts off from where the previous one left off and has Pooja Kumar, Andreah Jeremiah, Shekhar Kapur, and Rahul Bose essaying key roles. The film will be releasing in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu on August 10.
