Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol are all set to woo their fans with a new track ‘Gerua’ from their up-coming film DILWALE. Speaking about the track, King Khan said, “Since Kajol and I are coming back together on-screen after years, Rohit felt that we should try and make Gerua stand out better than all the other songs we have done earlier. We have done many beautiful songs are really fortunate to have done those. But Rohit was very clear and precise about how he would like to shoot this one. He paid attention to every detail starting from choice of location, costumes and every other technicality because it was essential to him.”
Kajol on her part added, “We shot the song in a start to finish schedule of 7 days. We worked really hard and it was severe cold had a great time in all as the song itself is so good that we enjoyed performing. I am sure the audiences will also find it magical once they see it on-screen”.
Penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya, ‘Gerua’ has been composed by Pritam and sung by Arijit Singh and Antara Mitra. Directed by Rohit Shetty, DILWALE also stars Kriti Sanon and Varun Dhawan. The film is slated to release on December 18.
Recollecting the history behind the plane which is used in the song, SRK said: “The place in Iceland is called as Black Beach. The plane there has a little history behind it. It was landed by a pilot there who ended up saving the lives of all passengers on board. No one was killed in the crash. Ever since then it has remained there. the plane is black as well. Recently Justin Bieber too skateboarded on the plane.”
