Diwali is all about lights, firecrackers, festivities and lots of sweets. And just like all of us, this festival signifies the same for our in-house fashion icon Sonam Kapoor. The actress has been in New Delhi for almost a month now shooting for what could be called India’s first chick flick, Veere Di Wedding. Come what may, Kapoor has always celebrated Diwali with her family and has requested a five-day break to fly back to Mumbai and spend the festival amidst her loved ones.
Family comes first for Sonam Kapoor and the actress always makes it a point to be around her friends and family during special occasions. This time around too, Sonam will be taking time out from her busy schedule to celebrate Diwali in Mumbai with her family.
The star will be taking a five day break from Veere Di Wedding schedule in Delhi and will be hosting her annual Diwali party, which has always been the talk of the town and one of the most anticipated soirees.
The actress will be flying back to the bay by October 15 and finish shooting for her role in Sanjay Dutt’s biopic starring Ranbir Kapoor. ‘She will shoot on October 16 and 17 for Sanjay Dutt’s biopic, and then will be busy with the Diwali celebrations from the 18th to the 20th.’ That buck doesn’t stop here, immediately after Diwali, the actress will resume shooting for Veere Di Wedding.
