If you are a fan of director Sanjay Leela Bhansali, you may have enjoyed the performance of Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone in his last three films. But you may not be able to see the presence of Ranveer and Deepika in the next Bhansali’s venture.

The Deepika- Ranveer Jodi has been seen in three films in the past together- ‘Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela’, ‘Bajirao Matani’ and ‘Padmaavat’. These all films were directed by Bhansali and were great hits. The super successful trio have given a great content to the audience through these films. The last film of the trio, Padmaavat saw multiple controversies during its release, but enjoyed great success on the box-office after its release.

Now, reports are suggesting that Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone signed a three films contract with Bhansali and they will not be there in his next directorial. Also, Bhansali is not considering them for his next project. A source revealed to Bollywoodlife, “Bhansali is taking a break from this pair and his next directorial will not feature Ranveer and Deepika.”

Bhansali has always lauded the performance of Deepika and Ranveer. He has also said in the past that he shares great chemistry with both the actors. In an earlier interview with leading daily DNA, Bhansali said, “Deepika is so fabulous; she is such a jaan. I just love her. All her hard work and brilliance that she brings to the set is effortless. It’s such a pleasure to work with someone who does what she is doing at that moment with absolute honesty. Her performances are so detailed and nuanced. I’m not done with her yet.”

Sharing his chemistry with Ranveer, Bhansali said, “No other filmmaker understands Ranveer the way I do. Ranveer and I have a great chemistry and understanding. I know how to direct him and I’m aware about his limitations and strengths. I know what to do with him. He’s a very special actor. He has so much energy. I only feel he puts too much effort into ‘I did my research and I went here and did that’, all that I understand. For him to pursue his greatness, he has to be a little more effortless. He is fantastic. I am not done with him either.”
