It’s known to all that Salman Khan is launching newbie Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty with his next production venture Hero. The superstar, despite being busy is going all out to promote the two and is hoping to give them a bigger platform. While it’s good to see Salman become their mentor, but that’s exactly why he’s also got a little over protective about his ‘children’ now. To an extent that we hear he literally deleted one of their ‘kissing’ scenes from the film. Yes, this happened!

Nikhil Advani, who is the director of Hero, reveals how Salman cut out a ‘brush of the lips’ from a song pointing that he’d never kissed on screen so his kids wouldn’t either. He said, “In one of the songs, Khoya khoya, the two are lying in the back of a truck when Sooraj pulls a blanket over them and kisses Athiya. It was just a peck… A brush of the lips… But even before I could see it, Salman did, and insisted on editing it out. His argument was that in all these years, he had never kissed onscreen, so there was no reason for his ‘children’ to lock lips”

Considering Hero remake didn’t require much of intimacy factor, this particular scene was immediately taken off on Salman’s insistence. However, we wonder if this ‘no kissing’ policy will also apply for Sooraj and Athiya’s future films. Will Salman NEVER let them kiss onscreen?
