Ram Gopal Verma apologises for his sexist tweet directed towards Sunny Leone on Women’s Day

Mumbai: Filmmaker Ram Gopal Verma apologised yesterday on twitter for furor over his tweet on 8th March on International Women’s Day directed towards actress Sunny Leone. On 8th March he tweeted, I wish all the women in the world gave men as much happiness as Sunny Leone gives.


After the controversy the RGV apologised from twitter saying that, Was just expressing my feelings but I apologise to all who were offended due to my unintended insensitive tweets in context of women’s day

Further he tweet, My apology is only to those who genuinely got offended and not to those who ranted for publicity nd threatened to take law into their hands

On the RGV tweet, Rakhi Sawant told to media, “Whatever Ram Gopal Varma said is right. I am with him, where he has praised Sunny Leone. I would also like to say that every woman, as said by Ram Gopal Varma, should learn to give pleasure. Women should let go their responsibilities of kitchen and should take coaching classes of how to give pleasure”.

This is not first time were Ram Gopal Verma tweeted in such a disrespectful manner towards women, or, for that matter anyone else. Some days before RGV wished Tiger Shroff on his birthday, he tweet that @iTIGERSHROFF Please learn machoism from @bindasbhidu who even without martial arts poses more like a man and never like this.

On this Sonam Kapoor replied that, Tiger is a lucky boy that Ram Gopal Verma doesn’t like him. Whoever RGV doesn’t like, they does very well. I am very happy”.
