Radhika Apte wins Best Actress award at The Tribeca 2016 Awards

For her film MADLY, Radhika Apte has won the award for the Best Actress in an International Narrative Feature at the The Tribeca 2016 Awards. A film directed by Anurag Kashyap,MADLY stars Radhika Apte and Satyadeep Misra. Anurag Kashyap took to his twitter to announce the news by posting: “RadhikaApte wins best actress at TriBeCa in dramatic competition for a 20min short from the anthology MADLY beating all feature actresses.”

The film is an amalgamation of six stories by six directors from around the world (Anurag being one of them) who tell six different stories about love. The directors are from America, Australia, Argentina, Japan, UK and India. These short films which look at the idea of modern day love, have been tied together to make one feature film. Radhika’s wall is full of praises as she has brought international glory to the nation by winning this award.
