Phillauri: Anushka, Diljit’s romantic Sufi song ‘Dum Dum’ celebrates pure love

After the quirky trailer, the makers of ‘Phillauri’ have released the films’ first song titled ‘Dum Dum’. The song features Anushka Sharma and Diljit Dosanjh, is the first romantic sufi track of the year. The song will leave you truly mesmerised.

The song tells the love story of Shashi (Anushka) and Phillauri (Diljit). The song will take you to the old era where the lead character’s story set in. The song is celebration of love which we hardly see anymore. A love which communicates it through eyes, that accidently touch of hands and music. The lyrics of the song are meaningful as well, “Dum Dum uthti hai dua, sau pankh laga tere naam ke, mera dil fakira ho gya, chal diya wo tere dham pe.”

‘Dum Dum’ is written by Anvita Dutt and composed by Shashwat Sachdev. Sung by Romi and Vivek Hariharan. Speaking about Anushka and Diljit’s chemistry is amazing. Both have come together for the first time.
