Parineeti, Ayushmaan start shooting for Meri Pyaari Bindu

After a gap of two years, Parineeti has got back to shooting for her next film MERI PYAARI BINDU. She tweeted, “It all begins in the city of joy! Bindu’sfavourite Abhimanyu will be here soon.

Watch out for @ayushmannk @MeriPyaariBindu,” Parineeti tweeted. Ayushmann, who will be playing a Bengali character for the first time, also took to Twitter to share his first look from the film in the form of a video.

The 31-year-old actor is essaying the role of Abhimanyu Roy, a horror novelist, in the movie to be directed by debutante Akshay Roy. A Yash Raj project, the film will be produced by Maneesh Sharma.

MERI PYAARI BINDU will bring Parineeti Chopra back on the big screen after a long sabbatical. She had been on a self imposed ban, ‘waiting for the the right script to excite.’

Meanwhile, she got herself an enviable body which everyone is talking about. So when YRF released a video of Parineeti introducing the film but she gave no insight into what her character will be all about. She did mention who she will be paired opposite. He is a novelist of the quirky kind.

The video has Ayushmann sitting on a bench with Kolkata behind him, pressing the buttons of the typewriter and dictating what he’s writing. The way he describes the mole on a woman’s body will give you a hint of his character.

Though Ayushmaan looks like a intellectual writer in the video, he fails at delivering his dialogues in Hindi with a Bengali accent. His dialogues look like they’ve been spoken in Mumbai but a rather Punjabi character.
