No red tape for Rajkummar Rao

In recent years, shooting a film in India has become extremely difficult due to the red tape from government channel that have become unavoidable. Moreover, shooting on railway tracks is a complete no-no, as the government had stopped giving permission for film shoots on the tracks. But, it seems that they have made an exception for Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana. The members of Lucknow railway station head gave them a special permission to shoot of the film scene on the railway track.

According to sources, “To ensure, a special permission for a film shoot on railway tracks is not easy. But the team of SMZA managed to get a green signal from the authority of railway board. The makers love going back to the state since they feel it lends a very real and honest vibe to the characters and prefer shooting on real locations, the railway station and bazaars of the place capturing the essence of real India.”
