Riding high on the critical acclaim of his latest release, MOM, actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui is eagerly awaiting the release of his forthcoming film, Babumoshai Bandookbaaz (BB) which is quite ‘special’ to him.

“Babu never kills anyone without being paid. He is very professional. You might be his enemy, but he won’t kill you if he isn’t getting paid for it (laughs). My character is stylish and inspired by James Bond, as he shoots and kills like him. He is shameless about everything in life and has a sense of humour. I enjoy playing roles that have an attitude. When I was working in theatre, I was impressed by stylish actors like Al Pacino or Pierce Brosnan who played James Bond. Somewhere you imbibe these qualities and use them as an actor. Babumoshai Bandookbaaz has a lot of masala and isn’t an art or an off-beat film,” says Nawaz.

The powerhouse performer plays the lead protagonist in the gripping drama – Babu who is a contract killer with lot of attitude and style similar to the popular British agent, James Bond.  The film is produced by Kiran Shyam Shroff and Ashmith Kunder, directed by Kushan Nandy and written by Ghalib Asad Bhopali.
