Kamal Hassan recently floated his party Makkal Needhi Maiam. And after entering in politics completely the actor started raising questions on the issues which are going in the country, though he was roped in many controversies for his blunt attitude, but the actor didn’t step back. Kamal Hassan who is in city for the promotions of his upcoming movie Vishwaroopam 2, spoke to online portal Spotboye about his views on politics and quitting acting.
When Kamal Hassan was asked if he would be ready to join hands with any other party just in case a coalition government has to be formed in the Lok Sabha Elections 2019? Haasan replied, “Anything to save the state, but it has to be honest, it cannot be any opportunity. I’m not an opportunist, I’m an optimist. Things can be done, and they can be done with intent and honesty. It may not be the best policy in the present environment. It’s a great luxury, very few people can afford it, I want to afford it”
The actor even said, he wants to move on to politics fully and wants to do something for the common people. “If it was 20 years back, maybe I could have been an actor and politician simultaneously like MGR. He was both an MLA and actor. But coming this late to politics, I have multiple responsibilities and need focus” said Kamal.
