After releasing the 3 back-to-back mini trails, ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’ makers have now released its first song titled ‘Radha’. Interestingly, the song is launched in the presence of 7,000 women named Sejal in Ahmedabad. Since Anushka Sharma’s character is called Sejal, the makers came up with an unusual plan to launch the song in Ahmedabad where they are likely to find many women called Sejal, a popular name in Gujarat.
The song has a lot of colour and that adds to the whole happy vibe that the film carries. The promos have added to the fun elements and Radha is going to take it a step further. Anushka and Shah Rukh both look pretty good individually and together. Theirs is an easy chemistry and rapport that looks natural. The locales are shot beautifully and will make you want to go on a romantic vacay right away. There’s a scene where we see SRK lift his ‘T’ up and challenges Anushka to do the same, we like how she coolly does so and proves a point. But The song has a very strong ‘Tamasha’ hangover. You might end up feeling like you are seeing an SRK and Anushka version of Ranbir-Deepika Padukone’s ‘Matargashti’ track.
Watch the song here:
The song begins with Hary aka Shah Rukh asking Sejal urf Anushka if she knows the reason why Punjabi singers sing loudly. He explains and then gets into the whole song mode. The song is Composed by Pritam and sung by Shahid Mallya and Sunidhi Chauhan. Sunidhi’s voice works magic for the song and we are sure that this song is going to be yet another popular track. At the end of the song, Sejal is telling Harry that she is all set to become his Radha but Harry just replies by saying, “Nice, Sweet, Sasta Type, Thodha Garam Gaa Sakti Hai?”
This is Anushka Sharma’s third outing with Shah Rukh Khan after ‘Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi’ (2008) and ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’ (2012). In Red Chillies Entertainment’s ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’, Shah Rukh Khan stars as a Punjabi puttar called Harinder Singh Nehra and Anushka Sharma is a Gujarati woman named Sejal Parikh. The film releases on August 4.
