Mumbai: Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan paid tribute to Sadhana, saying he has always admired the yesteryear actress and will always remain her fan. Sadhana died yesterday at a hospital in suburban Santacruz here after a brief illness. She was 74. Remembering the late actress as beautiful and graceful, Aamir, 50, said her death was a sad day in Indian cinema.
“A sad day for Indian Cinema. Rest in peace Sadhanaji. Thank you for entertaining us with your talent, your beauty, your grace, and your energy. We will always remember you as one of the finest actors of India. I am one of your biggest fans and I always will be as long as I live. Love and respect always,” Aamir wrote on social media.
Sadhana is best known for her roles in films like “Love in Simla”, “Hum Dono”, “Ek Musafir Ek Hasina”, “Asli-Naqli”, “Mere Mehboob” and “Woh Kaun Thi”.
