How a young fan made actor Vineet Raina’s Goa trip special

Something very special happened on actor Vineet Raina’s recent Goa trip.  While he was enjoying his time on the beach, a 14-year-old girl walked up to him with a bunch of paper roses in her hands and presented it to her onscreen idol.

“It was such a beautiful feeling. There was this 14-year-old girl who ran to me and handed over a bunch of roses made out of tissue paper. I have no idea how she got paper and colours on the beach, but she had somehow managed to make a card for me as well. There was a sweet message inside. She told me that she was a big fan. I was overwhelmed and hugged her immediately,” says Vineet, who also got a picture clicked with the girl.

Fans have always been a big part of Vineet’s life. The love and appreciation that he has got from his viewers has been phenomenal and has increased over the years, says the actor. “I really feel blessed. I feel that I am so fortunate to have people notice and appreciate whatever I do. People still remember me from my first show ‘Maayka’. People come up to me and call me Prashant, my character from the show ‘Punar Vivah’,” he says, adding, “I always give time to my fans and click pictures with them.”

In fact, he got a lot of compliments on his present show ‘Ishq Mein Marjawan’ as well. “Viraat is so popular. There were so many people, tourists, vendors, they were all praising the show. They told me that they love it because it is not saas-bahu show. Even though I am doing a negative character, the love people showered on was incredible,” he says.
