This is the best birthday gift for Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar, as he turns 45 today. His upcoming movie Sachin: A Billion Dream first songs ‘Hind Mere Jind’ was launched today.
The songs is composed, and, sung by the maestro A R Rehman, it beautifully captures Sachin’s journey from childhood at Shivaji Park, from visiting the humble abode of Lord Ganpati’s temple to a superstar to reckon for.
In a Sachin: A Billion Dream trailer with a Tendulkar’s personal narration in the background, hits all the right cords. In the video you can see, he was only 10 years old when India won the World Cup in 1983. He was also at one point a child, like any other child, naughty and full of hopes and dreams. The journey from watching Kapil Dev lift the glorious World Cup to the fulfilment of his dream of holding it in his hands one day, for our nation, for India, is glorious to watch.
The background music is composed by AR Rahman, and, is a great fit with each and every shot. Brownie points to the track that plays when the cricketer is all set to walk out to the pitch. The shot of him on the field, running for victory and going for boundaries will definitely give you the chills. Watching the trailer was like reliving the old moments. The documentary –feature is set to release on 26 May, 2017. The films helmed by James Erskine and produced by Ravi Bhagchandka of 200NotOut.
