Harshvardhan Rane, who was all set to star in BejoyNambiar’s remake of Mani Ratnam’s 1988 Tamil film Agni Natchathiram had spent the past few months prepping for his role, besides having kept his dates aside for the shooting. Dhanush too had been roped in to star along with the Sanam Teri Kasam actor. So, naturally it came as a shocker to learn that the filmmaker has put the film on hold for now.
However, Harshvardhan seems to have taken it in his stride rather well. Instead of being upset about the time spent or worrying about the months given to the yet-to-take-off-film, the actor is already looking at making the most of his dates that were earlier allotted to Bejoy’s film.
When contacted about it, he was his usual positive self, as he said, “I waited for five months, but I have no regrets! I have always admired Bejoy sir’s work, and I understand that all good projects take time. Patience ki koi kami nahin hai mere life mein.”
Point out that with a window period in his date calendar suddenly open, many filmmakers who were waiting would now want to approach him, and the actor agrees that he’s already planning to get busy with his other projects. “Yes, as of now I will try to devote these dates to another project, work on myself, sharpen my axe, may be go for some workshops up in the mountains or if need be I’ll take short trips into a jungle nearby in my Jeep and live with locals and learn local combat techniques,” smiles the hunky star.
