Farhan Akhtar rescued her co-star Shradha Kapoor

We are loving how quick Farhan Akhtar was to fly to Shraddha Kapoor’s defence and defuse a potentially threatening situation! This happened when during a social media interaction for their upcoming Rock On 2, the stars were accepting questions from fans. In the course of his exchange, they were asked which was the most ‘chichora  song’ they had heard.

The term clearly had Shraddha foxed, as she turned to her host to ask, “Chichora means like a… ghati gaana?”

In the blink of an eye, co-star and rumoured love interest Farhan was quick to point out, “I don’t think that it is a very nice thing to say.” Still not too clear about the meaning of the term, Shraddha went on to correct herself and came to the conclusion that she meant “mastiwale, naughty, cute” songs.

Phew! Full marks for Farhan who was probably aware that the term ghati is considered derogatory, with even the Bombay High Court berating a man who had used the word in a drunken brawl!
