Shweta Tiwari’s daughter Palak Tiwari was reported to play a role of Prerna in the upcoming Kasautii Zindagii Kay reboot. And Shweta Tiwari also confirmed the news to Hindustan Times that her daughter was approached for the role, “Yes, I would have told her to go ahead and do it. In fact, everybody was saying, even from Balaji (production house) that she should do it. It was she who said ‘No mom, I don’t think I can do a daily soap and work day in and day out. I cannot do that at this point in time,” she said.
But now Ekta Kapoor who is a close friend of Shweta and head of Balaji has reacted to the report and took to her Twitter account and wrote, “Aaah reaaaaaly?????????? How come I don’t know.”

Her Twitter post shows a different kind of a story and it looks like Ekta is disagreeing with Shweta’s claim
Meanwhile, Palak was to make her Bollywood debut with the film Quickie alongside Darsheel Safary of Taare Zameen Par fame. But later, Shweta confirmed that Palak will not be doing any movies and will only be focusing on her studies.
