Bollywood siblings who share amazing personal and professional bond

The bitter-sweet bond between siblings is like a clichéd Bollywood film, with the blend of drama and action, with a dosage of love and affection. And now Bollywood has set the ball rolling for real life siblings who are coming on-board for their anticipated projects. Brushing off the nepotism debacle, these star siblings are taking up the charge collectively for entertaining all Bollywood buffs. Apart from actors, some actor-director and director-producer duo may soon set the stage for their behind the screen chemistry. Who are such siblings of tinsel town who got along for the sake of the movie, and who are upcoming newbie sibling jodi lets dwell down to find out.

Shraddha Kapoor and Siddhanth Kapoor


Shakti Kapoor’s charming daughter and his talented son will be soon sharing the screen in their upcoming movie, Haseena Parkar. Yes! Shraddha Kapoor and her brother Siddhanth Kapoor will soon evoke the journey of Don Dawood Ibrahim and his sister Haseena Parkar on silver screen. The movie is a crime biopic based on Haseena’s life and her journey of becoming the queen of underworld. The movie is directed by Apoorva Lakhia, Shraddha is leading the movie as female protagonist for the first time. Siddhanth who made his Bollywood debut with Shootout at Wadala, is grabbing eye balls as he is looking stellar as Dawood.

Shahid Kapoor and Sanah Kapoor

 

Shahid Kapoor’s step sister Sanah Kapoor, daughter of ace actors Pankaj Kapoor and Supriya Pathak, made her Bollywood debut with the movie ‘Shaandaar’. Though the movie was a flop but Sanah got some recognition for her good acting skills. The song ‘Gulaabo’ which features her brother Shahid and Alia Bhatt topped the charts after the release. Shahid never misses a chance to show his brotherly love for his cute sister Sanah, he had posted adorable picture with Sanah on social media, captioned as “Feeling the sister love today”. Currently, Sanah is focusing on her Bollywood career and whereas, Sasha is busy shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s historical war drama, ‘Padmavati’.

The Khan Brothers

‘Dabbang’, ‘Dabbang 2’, ‘Hello Brother’, ‘Veer’, ‘Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya’… we have seen real life Khan brothers sharing the screen and we loved it! Salman has worked with his brother Arbaaz Khan and Sohail Khan in so many movies, starting from ‘Pyaar Kiya Toh Darna Kya’ to ‘Dabbang’, that they never fail to enthral their magnum viewers. Salman and Sohail were recently seen evoking their real to reel life brotherhood on screen in ‘Tubelight’, directed by Kabir Khan. ‘Main aur Mrs.Khanna’, ‘Heros’, ‘God Tussi Great Ho’, ‘Salam-e-ishq’ are some of the movies they have done together. Apart from Salman, Arbaz and Sohail were seen together in a melodramatic movie ‘Kisaan’, which was based on cult issue of Indian farmers’ suicide.

Aditya Roy Kapoor and Kunal Roy Kapoor

These two devars of Vidya Balan were seen together in Ayan Mukherjee’s ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewaani’. Aditya Roy Kapur and Kunal Roy Kapur also have an elder brother Siddharth Roy Kapur, who is a successful producer and who is married to Bollywood’s bold beauty Vidya Balan. Kunal is elder to Aditya, who is known for the movies like ‘Delhi Belly’, ‘Nautanki Saala’ and ‘Action Jackson’. He was last seen in Emran Hashmi starrer ‘Azhar’, which was based on life of veteran cricketer Mohd. Azharuddin.

Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol

These powerful Deol brothers have worked together in many movies, ‘Yamla Pagla Deewna’, ‘Apne Shaheed’, are some of the popular movies that witnessed their onscreen association. Apart from working on onscreen, Sunny Deol have produced as well as shared the screen space with his younger brother Bobby in the movies like ‘Chamku’, ‘Shaheed’, ‘Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya’ and ‘Dillagi’. They were lastly seen in the second instalment of ‘Yamla Pagla Deewana 2’ along with their father, Dharmendra. The Deol brothers will soon share the silver screen again in their upcoming movie ‘Poster Boys’ that marks the directorial debut of actor ‘Shreyas Talpade’. The movie is an official remake of the hit Marathi movie ‘Posther Boyz’ (2014).

Sonam Kapoor and Rhea Kapoor

Anil Kapoor’s talented daughters Rhea and Sonam have successfully made their name in Bollywood. Rhea had produced the movie ‘Aisha’ that featured Sonam Kapoor and Abhay Deol in the lead roles. Apart from ‘Aisha’, Sonam’s movie ‘Khoobsurat’ was too produced by her younger sister. Apparently, Rhea has become Sonam’s official fashion mentor, the buzz is Rhea will keep a check on Sonam’s style and appearance in her upcoming movie, ‘Veere Di Wedding’.  It’s pretty visible how these Kapoor sisters work with each other. Maybe sooner or later they may soon share the screen together. Anything is possible in B’town!

Tusshar Kapoor and Ekta Kapoor

He is an actor and she is the queen of television industry. Ekta Kapoor, pioneer of Saas-bahu daily soaps has produced several movies for her brother Tusshar Kapoor. As of today, Ekta and her brother Tusshar have worked together in eight movies. ‘Kyaa Kool Hain Hum’, ‘The Dirty Picture’, ‘Shoot Out At Wadala’, ‘Shor In The City’, ‘Shoot Out At Lokhandwala’ are some of the blockbusters in which Ekta and Tusshar have worked in association. More than producing the film, Ekta Kapoor has also done a cameo in the movie ‘C Kkompany’ that stars Tusshar Kapoor, Anupam Kher, Rajpal Yadav along with Mithun Chakraborty in pivotal roles.

Farhan Akhtar and Zoya Akhtar

Another brother-sister duo who are popular for their wittiness and good cinema intelligence. They have produced many blockbuster movies together. ‘Dil Chahta Hai’ was Farhan’s directorial debut and Zoya was the casting director of the movie, along with this Zoya had also assisted in direction for the movies like ‘Lakshya’. In 2009, Zoya made her directorial with the movie ‘Luck By Chance’, where Farhan played the lead character in the film. Farhan has acted in movie like ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’ and ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’, which was directed by his sister Zoya Akhtar.

Huma Qureshi and Saqib Saleem

This amazingly talented brother-sister duo was seen in the supernatural horror film Dobara: See Your Evil, which is the official remake of Hollywood movie, Oculus. Huma who made her Bollywood debut with Gangs of Wasseypur shared the screen with her brother for the first time. Their real to reel chemistry made headlines during the promotion of the movie. Although movie failed to impress the viewers, the movie is worth a watch for Huma and Saqib’s acting skills.
