Bollywood’s ace designer Manish Malhotra recently organised a fashion show after his designer label completed 13 years. Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif turned showstoppers for the show, which took place at a Mumbai’s five star hotel. But, according to Spotboye reports, when Manish was guiding Salman and Katrina about the flow of the show, Priyanka Chopra’s mother, Madhu Chopra, made an appearance to meet the designer. However, Salman and Chopra didn’t exchange pleasantries.
Says a source, “Madhu Chopra reached the venue at 9.30 pm and went backstage to congratulate Manish for his show. Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif were right there prepping for their impending walk. However, the moment the superstar saw Chopra approach, he turned away and began talking to the actress. In fact, even Katrina didn’t acknowledge her presence.”
Adds the source, “Manish was glad that Madhu Chopra could make it and requested her to be seated in the front row. She proceeded to the auditorium soon after.”
Priyanka recently walked out of Salman Khan’s Bharat. While earlier reports claimed it was due to a possible marriage with Nick Jonas, recent reports confirmed she will play the love interest of Chris Pratt in Cowboy Ninja Viking.
