Arjun Kapoor’s Mubarakan title track is your next big Punjabi track

Arjun Kapoor just released the first song of his forthcoming film ‘Mubrakan’ on social media. The title track features Arjun as Karan and Charan, plus chacha Anil Kapoor. The song, a peppy track, is a party anthem in making. To nobody’s surprise, Anil Kapoor adds colour to the song with his jhakaas dance moves. Ileana D’Cruz and Athiya Shetty, who play Karan and Charan’s love interests in ‘Mubarakan’, are also part of the title track.

But when we listen it’s beats one old Bollywood song comes in our mind. Any Guesses? It is in 1975, the film that we still love- ‘Sholay’. Although the title song of ‘Mubarakan’ had completely different kind of beats and grooving melody, at one point while watching this song, at the beginning the lyrics of ‘Mehbooba Mehbooba’ is bound to cross your mind. Interestingly it will also remind you of one more movie which stars Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone ‘Love Aaj Kal’. ‘The ‘Aahun Aahun’ song, remember! When you see two Arjun Kapoor’s, one in turban and another one in normal haircut, dancing in the same frame.

While the turban wearing Arjun Kapoor, sticks to his desi and bhangra beats, the other Arjun Kapoor chooses to groove in his own style. Meanwhile, with smooth moves, Athiya Shetty becomes the show stealer of this song.

The music has been composed by Rishi Rich, Yash Anand. While Badshah composed the rap, Kumaar wrote the rest of the lyrics. Singers Juggy D, Yash Narvekar, Badshah, Sukriti Kakar have lent their voice for the music. Mubarakan will be releasing on July 28.
