Another controversy? Payal Rohatgi supports ‘Triple Talaq Ordinance’ in her recent tweet

Payal Rohatgi hit the headlines when she criticised the people of Kerala for not banning cow slaughter in the state. This time she posted another controversial post on twitter, she took help of social media to air her opinion about Triple Talaq Ordinance.

In the picture she can be seen holding a placard that read, “I am Hindustan. I am happy. 70 years of Independence, treated like an object, replaced without notice, divorced orally by husband, finally…. #TripleTalaqOrdinance #JusticeForMuslimWomen”

Along with the picture, she wrote, “As per #NehruGandhi family tree,   Mr. Feroze, the husband of Late Former PM Indira Ji,  was a Muslim or Parsi so is that the reason @INCIndia was not letting the #TripleTalaqLaw pass till now� What are their reactions to #TripleTalaqOrdinance � R they happy � or sad �”


Her earlier tweet on cow slaughter casued a huge uproar on the internet. Here’s what she had said. “#cowslaughter is NOT banned in #kerala. Dear Kerala people and politicians of Kerala, not good to hurt the sentiments of #Hindus. If u openly do that, sorry to sound but God also openly does it.. God is one ☝️ but u can’t hurt religious faith like this�”
