Aamir Khan turns ‘Hanikarak Baapu’ for his daughters in new ‘Dangal’s song


It is well known that Aamir Khan’s policy of one film a year makes him a tough actor. Aamir’s every film finish year at the box office with a bang. As 2016 is ready to wrap up, Mr perfectionists upcoming film ‘Dangal’ pacing towards it’s release date.

The film’s first song ‘Haanikarak Baapu’ showcase Aamir as tough father to daughters, Geeta and Babita. The song shows his ruthless side as he shapes his daughters wrestling careers. It might just make you feel or even think , how difficult a father like him can be in real life.

The song is from the perspective of Geeta and Babita Phogat who sees their father as ‘Haanikarak Baapu’. The rural touch in the song gives you an apt vibe of the relation Aamir’s character shares with his daughter while training them. It shows Aamir training his two teenage daughters before introducing them to the wrestling ring. Video song showcase their immense hardwork despite the fact that the two young girls long to spend a normal teenage life.

The song is composed by Pritam and sung by Sarwar Khan and Sartaz Khan Barna, lyrics penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya.

‘Dangal’ is based on the life of Mahavir Singh Phogat played by Aamir Khan. Mahavir Singh Phogat taught wrestling to his daughters Geeta and Babita Kumari, shsping them as World Champions.While Geeta is India’s first female wrestler to win gold in Commonwealth Games, sister Babita won silver. ‘Dangal’ traces the life of father-daughter and their struggle against stereotypes as they enter a profession which mostly ruled by men.

The film is set to release on 23 November.
